How to reach
The parish church of San Giovanni Battista is located in Sillano, near San Dalmazio, in the municipality of Pomarance.
History
On a side of the hill crowned by the Rocca Sillana still rises the few rest of the formerly Parish Church of Sillano. Today are still visible only the façade and a part of the right nave. The ruined complex can be considered one of the highest examples of medieval romanesque architecture of the whole Val di Cecina.
